How the Find My Case service works
Submit your request
Fill the form below with all information you have — party name, approximate year, court, and what specifically you need. More detail helps but even partial information is accepted.
Feasibility check within 4 hours
Our team reviews your request. If we need more information, we contact you immediately. You receive a unique Request ID for tracking.
Expert research begins
Our legal researchers search all available sources — eCourts, JUDIS, IndianKanoon, court libraries, and physical archives through our network of court correspondents.
Found — delivery within 48 hours ✅
Case details or judgment delivered to you by email and in-app notification. Payment link is sent only after delivery.
Not found — zero charge ❌
We send you a detailed "Not Found" report listing every source we searched. Zero charge. No questions asked.
What counts as "Found"?
We define this precisely so there are no disputes. A case is "Found" when we deliver any one of the following:
- ✓Full case details — case number, parties, court, filing date, current status, next hearing date
- ✓A copy or certified extract of the judgment or order being searched for
- ✓A verified reference with source and location of the physical record for pre-digital cases
- ✓A link to the case on an official court or government database
When we do NOT charge:
- ✗Only partial information is recovered but the full case cannot be confirmed
- ✗The case exists but the specific order or judgment requested is not retrievable
- ✗The case does not exist — wrong court, wrong year, or incorrect details provided
- ✗The search exceeds the 48 hour turnaround time without a result
Find My Case — Pricing
Pricing is based on the type of research required. You pay only after the case is found and delivered. Fee structure to be confirmed — contact us for current rates.
Post-2000 cases in digitised courts
Searches eCourts, IndianKanoon, court websites, and other digital databases. Higher success rate, faster turnaround. Best for cases from 2000 onwards.
Pre-2000 cases, partially digitised
Searches digital archives plus law library resources, law reporters, and legal gazettes. For cases from 1980 to 2000. Requires more researcher time.
Pre-1980 cases, physical archives
Requires physical access to court record rooms through our network of court correspondents in each city. For very old cases and pre-independence judgments.
